25.10.2012 @ Agape Home, Rawang

In my last blog post I was saying that hopefully I can get to take some pictures when I visit the Agape home so I did when I visit the kids yesterday. Agape home is mainly a school, church and shelter for refugees children from Myanmar. The reason they came to Malaysia because some of them were persecuted for being christian in their own country so the United States plan to help them by sending the kids here and study the basics like english, science and math for about 5-6 years. After that they will be send to the US, Australia, New Zealand or Canada and be the resident of that country. That's all about Agape Home, so time for the pictures to the talking.

That's the kids.

They are doing the chicken dance.

Art& Craft Time.

Singing preparation for presentation.

Lunch Time

Puan Dorothy's son. So cute:)

Eating her mamee alone such a cute girl.

So, we were grouped into five groups according to the kids age and their english level and I was put with the 7-10 years old kids. We first did ice-breaker game and then art & craft lastly the presentation. It was really fun to mix around with the kids and they are so cute! :) (FYI, some of their parents work here and some doesn't) This is actually my first mission trip and it will also be my most memorable moment in my life :D I really hope to go on more mission trip like this to help other people especially kids.

Lesson learnt: Appreciate what you have and stop complaining.

  1. Hi there, I chanced upon these pictures and the activities you team organized and found them to be very interesting and meaningful.. Would it be possible for you to share your program plan and/or the contact details of the agape home? We are planning a day out from KL next month. Thanks in advance!
